Force Majeure

No Party will be responsible for the total or partial non-performance of its obligations caused by an event constituting force majeure within the meaning of the Applicable Regulations.

The Party invoking an event constituting force majeure must notify the other Party within three (3) calendar days of the occurrence of that event. 1940bridal will make every effort to limit its scope.
​
The execution of the Order will resume its normal course as soon as the event constituting force majeure has ceased. If the suspension of the Contract should exceed three (3) months, each Party may terminate this Agreement after notification to the other Party by registered mail with acknowledgement of receipt.

Exceptions of the right of withdrawal.

In accordance with Article L221-28, 3°, of the Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal cannot be applied to goods made according to the Buyer's specifications, bespoke/personalized orders.

Thus, no withdrawal right can be applied to the altered Products.
​
With the exception of Special Conditions to the contrary, in accordance with Article L221-28, 5°, of the Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal may not be applied, for reasons of hygiene and health protection, to the following Products as soon as they have been unsealed by the Buyer: Earrings.
